Why a sprayed cabinet finish looks different.
Brushing cabinets is faster and cheaper. It also looks like a brushed cabinet six months later. We pull every door and drawer front, label them, and finish them in a controlled spray environment so the topcoat lays down dead-flat.
Frames are sprayed in place with full plastic containment so the kitchen stays usable. Doors come back at the end of the project, rehung on your existing hinges — new hinges are an available upgrade if yours have lost their tension.
Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane or Benjamin Moore Advance are our defaults. Both cure to a hard, washable finish that looks factory-fresh for years.

Read post →Can I cook during the project?
Yes — we set up plastic containment and you keep using the kitchen. Doors are gone for 4–7 days but the cabinets themselves stay functional.
Will the finish chip?
Cured properly with the products we use, no — for years of normal use. Stacking heavy cast iron against a cabinet edge will dent any finish, though, painted or factory.
Can you change colors mid-project?
Up until we spray the first finish coat, yes. After that the change order is real money — which is why we sample first.
What about thermofoil or laminate cabinets?
We can refinish wood, MDF, and properly bonded thermofoil. Loose or peeling thermofoil needs replacement first. We'll tell you straight at the estimate.
Do you replace hardware?
We can re-install your existing pulls or source new ones. New hardware is one of the cheapest ways to make a refinish look like a brand-new kitchen.
