Salt air, hard rain, and 90% humidity will find every shortcut a previous painter took. We open the job with a full pressure wash and a careful inspection of every elevation — siding, trim, soffits, fascia, doors, and windows.
Soft wood, failed caulk, and chalking paint get addressed before the first coat goes on. We prime bare wood and stain-block knots, replace minor trim where needed, and re-caulk the joints that always go first.
On siding we use Sherwin-Williams Emerald or Duration; on trim we step up to ProClassic or Advance. Two finish coats. Every elevation walked with you before final invoice.

We walk every elevation and measure square footage of siding and trim separately. You get a flat-rate quote — not an hourly guess.
HOA & Color
If you're in a community with color rules, we draft and submit the swatches for you. We sit on the email until you're cleared.
Wash
Soft-wash siding, treat any mildew, let it dry. Most homes need 24–48 hours after washing before painting starts.
Prep & Repair
Scrape failing paint, prime bare wood, repair minor carpentry, re-caulk joints. The step that decides whether the job lasts 3 or 10 years.
Paint
Two finish coats. Spray-and-back-roll on siding for adhesion; brush-and-roll on detail trim. Daily photos to your phone.
Walk-Through
Every elevation, every door, every shutter. Anything flagged is fixed before the final invoice.

A typical single-family exterior runs 4–7 working days depending on size and how much carpentry repair is needed. Coastal homes with a lot of trim may add a day. We give you a daily plan with the estimate.
Do you paint in winter in SC?
Yes. Lowcountry winters are mild enough to paint exteriors most days. We watch dew points and surface temperatures and adjust the schedule when needed.
Can you handle HOA color approvals?
On Hilton Head, Bluffton, Sea Pines, Palmetto Dunes, and most master-planned communities we already know the approval process. We pull the swatch, draft the submission, and follow up until you're approved.
What about salt air and mildew?
We treat mildew during the wash and use mildew-resistant premium acrylics. Coastal homes get an extra hand on shaded north elevations where mildew likes to come back.
Does the warranty cover peeling?
Yes — 3 years against peeling, blistering, or chalking caused by our prep or application. Manufacturer paint warranties stack on top and we help you file if it ever comes to that.
