What actually happens when we paint your interior.
Painters love to talk about "prep." Here's what it actually means on our crews — and why it changes whether your walls look perfect for three years or peel in six months.
1. Walk-through & estimate
On-site, measured, itemized. No high-pressure close. You get a written quote, a timeline, and a product spec within 48 hours.
2. Protect & prep
Floors, furniture, fixtures — all covered. Nail holes filled. Cracks caulked. Trim sanded. Problem drywall skim-coated. This is where the finish quality is decided.
3. Prime what needs it
Stain-blocking primer on water spots. Bonding primer on glossy trim. Drywall primer on patched areas. Skipping this is why paint peels.
4. Paint — two coats, always
Cut in by hand, roll with high-density 3/8" rollers. Two full coats on every wall, every time, even when "one would do." The second coat is the one that looks good five years in.
5. Walk-through & touch-up
You walk every room with the crew lead. Anything you flag gets fixed before we pack up. We don't count a job done until you do.
What we actually put on your walls.
Walls & Ceilings
Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint or Emerald interior acrylic latex. Scrubbable, true-color, fades slowly. The line matches the room — kids' rooms get the tougher stuff.
Trim & Doors
Benjamin Moore Advance waterborne alkyd, semi-gloss. Levels like an oil paint without the smell, yellowing, or cleanup. This is what gives millwork that factory finish.
Cabinets
Cabinet-specific prep plus BM Advance or SW Emerald Urethane via HVLP spray. No brush marks. Hardware off, re-installed, and cured before cabinets go back in service.

Homeowners who hired us for interior work.
Recarlo and Zaybe Floures worked diligently and with great care to complete the removal of our popcorn ceiling and repair and paint the ceiling.
Fabulous work on my bedroom set and the Cabinets turned out beautifully! Very happy. Great communication!
I recently used Color Splash Painting for interior painting, and I'm extremely pleased with the results! Their professional team was prompt, courteous, and attentive to detail. They transformed my living space beautifully, and I couldn't believe the quality of their work. The pricing was very reasonable, making it an excellent value for the level of service provided. If you're looking to refresh your home, I highly recommend Color Splash Painting. They definitely delivered beyond my expectations.
The questions every homeowner asks us.
How long does a typical interior repaint take?
Most single-family interior repaints run 3–5 working days. We give you a day-by-day plan at estimate so you know exactly what to expect.
What paint brands do you use?
Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore for residential interior work. We match the line to the room — scrubbable for high-traffic spaces, cabinet-grade for millwork, zero-VOC for nurseries.
Do we need to move furniture?
No. Our crew handles protection and furniture shifting. Everything is covered, nothing goes outside, and every item is returned to its starting position on the final day.
Can we be home during the job?
Absolutely. We work around your schedule and can sequence rooms so at least half the house is always usable. Kids and pets welcome.
What happens if something chips a week later?
You call us. We come back under our 3-year workmanship warranty. No argument, no paperwork gymnastics.
